LIDAR

At Albion we make products with one simple aim in mind, to help you stay outside for longer - no matter what the time of year.

LIDAR is a new project that uses open source LiDAR data to create unique artwork informed by landscape, facilitating the connection between place and product.

This print uses LiDAR data from the Nant Irfon valley in the Cambrian Mountains, a location at the heart of the Albion story, to create an artwork for application onto our Lightweight Jersey.

THE JERSEY

A lightweight, breathable short sleeve jersey with a close to the body fit designed for riding in warm weather.

PRINT

A unique artwork created using open source LiDAR data from the Nant Irfon valley in the Cambrian Mountains, mid-Wales.

THE VALLEY

Home of the Devil's Staircase, the Nant Irfon valley sits in the heart of the Cambrian mountains. Sometimes referred to as the 'Desert of Wales', it was when riding in the Cambrian Mountains that the Albion story began.

REDUCED IMPACT

We optimised the lay plan in the production process to minimise waste off-cuts, making every jersey unique.

ATHLETE TESTED

Ridden across deserts - from the Cambrian Mountains to the Atlas Mountains.

For the 2024 Atlas Mountain Race a group of Albion athletes were equiped with the Lidar jersey, including overall winner Justinas Leveika.
