Back for its fifth year, 12 Hours of May is simple. Spend 12 hours outside, elapsed time, not riding time, in one go. You could stay in the saddle for 12 hours straight, or for just a few hours before finding a place to stop and sleep before pedalling home in the morning.

12 Hours of May is all about celebrating longer days, time outside and exploration closer to home. It's open to anyone willing to spend 12 hours outdoors in one go on a bike, however and wherever you choose to.

Everyone who takes part will receive a 12 Hours of May patch, and winners will be chosen to win a set of prizes from Albion and Coros.

The weather is getting warmer. The days are getting longer. Ride on or off road. The only rule is that the elapsed time from the moment you start pedalling until you're done with your ride must be at least 12 hours. Nothing else matters.
